Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of Sniffit. They supplement Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. By using the app you agree to both.
The service
Sniffit provides AI-generated identification, price estimates, listings, chat answers, and images for second-hand items. All of these are informational only — they are not appraisals, not guarantees of resale value, and may be inaccurate. Always use your own judgement before buying or selling.
Accounts
You can use Sniffit as a guest or sign in with Apple. You're responsible for activity on your account and device. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
Credits
AI features use credits from one balance; the cost of each action is shown in the app. Free accounts get a one-time starter grant. Hobby and Pro include a monthly allowance that resets each billing period; unused allowance doesn't roll over. Credit packs are one-time purchases, and purchased or earned bonus credits don't expire while your account exists. Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred, and are lost if you delete your account. We may change credit costs and allowances; changes apply going forward.
Subscriptions and free trials
Sniffit offers auto-renewing subscriptions (Hobby and Pro, monthly or annual) billed through your Apple account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If a plan includes a free trial, it converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Prices are shown in the app before purchase, and refunds are handled by Apple.
Acceptable use
Don't abuse the service: no automated scraping of our APIs, no attempts to circumvent credit or usage limits, and no uploading of unlawful content. Only scan or share photos and listings you're allowed to use, and follow the terms of any marketplace you share listings from. Sniffit is not affiliated with Facebook, Meta, or any other marketplace.
AI-generated images and listings
Makeovers, staged photos, and mockups are AI illustrations, not photos of the real item. If you use them or AI-written listings to sell, you're responsible for what you publish — don't use them to misrepresent an item's condition, authenticity, or appearance.
Your content
You retain ownership of the photos you scan and the content you create with Sniffit. You grant us the limited right to process it to provide the service (identification, valuation, image generation, and backup).
Suspension
We may suspend or limit access for accounts that break these terms or abuse the service.
Liability
The app is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Channel22 is not liable for losses arising from buying or selling decisions made using the app's estimates or AI-generated content.
Changes
We may update these terms as Sniffit evolves. We'll update the date above, and continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
